I have a masters degree in graphic communications and 30+ years of experience in the design, advertising, printing and digital communications fields. I was an art director for advertising and design firms in New York, Mexico City and San Francisco, handling accounts such as Westin Hotels, Cuervo Tequila, Mexicana Airlines and Yves Saint Laurent. My work has been published in Advertising Age magazine.

I started my career at a time when graphic design was a hands-on craft and every project was driven by a clear concept. Because of this, I haven’t fallen for the common computer-age pitfall: using software to “decorate” instead of to “communicate.”

For the last 20 years, I've worked as an independent graphic designer. Following my personal values, I’ve chosen to put my expertise at the service of nonprofits, cause marketing campaigns, and businesses with a strong social and environmental ethic. My clients count on the reliable, professional service offered by prestigious firms without paying for the high overhead. I take my work very seriously but I have a lot of fun doing it.

When I’m not at work...
Wildlife conservation is my passion. I regularly participate in endangered species’ conservation efforts. For 14 years I spent every Friday caring for sick, injured or orphaned seal pups at The Marine Mammal Center. I also have an addiction: the sport of “dog agility,” which I practice with my dog Laika – team sport and interspecies communication at their best!
